What we do

This month we have been working hard to prepare our business plan and present this to our members at our next meeting in May. It is important that we have representation here from each of our practices, therefore, your senior GP has been invited so that we can conduct a vote on the finances for 2025/26.

Despite the success in being awarded the contract for the Same Day Access service based in Reading, the team has continued to work hard behind the scenes to maximise the potential of the pilot and prepare for the new service to be as successful as possible. The longer-term service will extend from a hub based in Reading, out to Wokingham and West Berkshire, and we are keen to hear from colleagues within these localities to ensure the services here are most efficient and best suited for the differing needs. This service and these hubs are a major achievement for the team, have positively impacted the community by providing patients with better care and improved outcomes, and will bring exciting opportunities for the company moving forward.
